  2. No, you are not a criminal because you duck hunt, it is a legal activity.

  3. Then why are you seeking to penalize me for the alleged illegal activities of others? If I am stripped of my rights because of another persons actions, then what is the difference between me and them if we've both been penalized the same?

  4. I can't see where anyone is penalizing you personally "a". A handful of hunters did a stupid thing. Society has always set laws and rules according to the screw ups of a few...this is nothing new. If hunters were to better police themselves, the quest for a no shooting zone would never have come up. Point fingers and lay blame towards those who created this....fellow "hunters" or whoever hired them. There's a big difference between true hunting and the massacre of inedible waterfowl. Unfortunately, due to stupidity, we all got caught in the crossfire.

  5. I'd like to add in addition that the topic these comments are falling under have nothing to do with hunting. While this blog started as that, this particular post was meant to start a discussion about rampant, unsustainable shellfish farming. Because hunting keeps entering into everything, it makes me wonder if we're getting closer to the truth all the time of the connection between the senseless massacre of inedible ducks and shellfish farming.
